Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire

Motherworld has been ruled by a thousand tyrannical kings, each more cruel than the last. The royal bloodlines inflicted suffering on the populace while depleting the planet's resources in their quest for wealth and conquest.

The cycle of oppression is momentarily interrupted when a skilled assassin kills both the King and Queen. This act obliterates the royal lineage, leaving a power vacuum in the empire.

In the chaotic aftermath, Senator Balisarius seizes control of the empire, displaying ruthless tactics to suppress any signs of rebellion. His rise marks a new chapter of fear and oppression across the distant territories.

Atticus Noble, a brutal commander of the Imperium, arrives at the remote moon of Veldt with orders from Balisarius. His mission is to crush any insurgences in the area and reassert the Imperial authority over the farming community.

Kora, a villager of Veldt, reflects on her painful past as a product of war. Stripped of her notion of family, she stands as a soldier determined to protect her community from the impending threat posed by the Imperium.

As the villagers spot the ominous dreadnought entering their atmosphere, Kora raises the alarm. Despite her warnings, villagers like Gunnar consider negotiation as a potential means of safety against the oppressive regime.

Noble confronts the villagers, seeking grain in exchange for wealth, but his brutal tactics quickly become evident. After Sindri, the village leader, refuses his offer, Noble executes him and forces Gunnar to comply with his demands.

Left behind by Noble, a decommissioned robot named JC-1435, or Jimmy, starts forming an unexpected bond with the villager Sam. Over time, Jimmy exhibits signs of independence, challenging his former programming imposed by the royals.

As tension rises and Noble's soldiers threaten the villagers, Kora resolves to protect her home. With Jimmy's assistance, she embraces her role as a guardian, moving forward with the mission to unite the villagers against their oppressors.

Kora and Gunnar embark on a perilous journey to recruit fighters, including Titus, a disillusioned Imperium general. In their path, Kora opens up about her transformation from victim to soldier in a world that has constantly devastated her.

The duo travels to Sharaan to enlist the aid of rebels Darrian and Devra. As they come together, the villagers feel a glimmer of hope amidst the threats posed by the Imperial dreadnought looming over Veldt.

Just as victory seems within reach, betrayal strikes when Kai reveals his allegiance to Noble. This shocking turn of events places Kora’s group in dire jeopardy at the moment they need solidarity the most.

The conflict escalates into intense battles marked by sacrifices and bravery among Kora's fighters. Amidst the chaos, Darrian performs a courageous act that becomes pivotal in the struggle against the Imperium.

The remaining fighters return to Veldt, facing emotional scars from their journey and the hope kindled by their struggle. Their victory, though hard-won, is overshadowed by the dark resurrection of Noble as he receives orders to capture Kora alive.
