Remo is a wealthy, easygoing man whose charm masks a stubborn naiveté. His life takes a sharp turn when his mischievous half-brother, Siddarth, introduces him to Sophie, and he falls in love with her and soon marries her.

Trouble arrives with the appearance of Sunny, Sophie’s ex, who along with Sophie hatches a diabolical plan to murder Remo by what looks like a natural death. Their scheme involves manipulating a dangerous moment—threatening with fake bullets to create a scenario where Remo would die from an asthma attack, all in a way that would raise no immediate suspicion. Sunny fires the gun, and Remo is killed, the bullets turning out to be real, a trap Siddharth has carefully set in motion.

As the truth begins to unfold, it is revealed that Siddarth and Sophie are lovers who are quietly working together to kill Remo in order to settle old scores tied to Siddarth’s family. His father’s extramarital affair drove Siddarth’s mother to a mental breakdown, landing her in an asylum, while the plot aims to seize Remo’s wealth and frame Sunny for the crime. Yet the money from Remo’s accounts seems to vanish in the intrigue, and it emerges that Remo is still alive—having faked his own death to flush out the conspirators. He surfaces as a mastermind of a larger plan, aligning with Sunny, an ally known as SMS, and CBI Officer Pradhan to trap the culprits red-handed.

In the climactic confrontation, Siddarth and Sophie confront Remo as Pradhan closes in to arrest them. A vicious fight erupts, leaving Siddarth mortally wounded. Sophie flees and tumbles into an open grave, while Remo looks on with a heavy mix of regret and resolve. He speaks softly of having loved the wrong person, a moment that underscores the human cost of the deception.

The final act brings another twist: Siddarth makes a fatal move to stab Remo, but Remo dodges and accidentally injures Sophie as well, both of them falling into the same grave that shadows the ending. In the aftermath, Remo encounters his stepmother in a mental asylum and tells her he does not know her, a chilling reminder of how tangled loyalties can be. Back in the world outside, he reconnects with Sunny, thanking him for saving him from being framed for murder, and the two men part on a wary, earned nod of trust.
