Ram Singh Charlie

Ram Singh, known as Charlie, grows up in a family of circus performers and becomes the popular mimic of Charlie Chaplin in the Jango Circus. He teaches his young son tricks and carries on the family tradition with his wife Kajri performing beside him. As digital media rises, the circus shifts from a thriving act to a non-profit enterprise, placing financial strain on everyone.

With Kajri pregnant and the family economy strained, Ramsingh urges Kajri to send their son Chintu to their village to ease expenses. The couple contemplates the future while the circus struggles to survive in a changing media landscape. The goal is to stabilize finances during Kajri's pregnancy.

Ramsingh gets a job with an event company and befriends Shahjahan. For entertainment, they perform as human-sized chickens during cricket matches. A thirst-break leads to Ramsingh removing his costume to drink water, prompting boos from a children-filled audience and the organizers to fire them without pay.

Shahjahan helps Ramsingh secure work as a rickshaw puller in Kolkata after the firing. He navigates a new, harsher urban life while trying to support his family. The city becomes a backdrop for his changing fortunes.

Kajri gives birth to a daughter, returning home to discover Ramsingh has taken up drinking and is now working a different job. The revelation strains their relationship as the family faces new stresses.

At a school event, Chintu decides to perform as Charlie, and Ramsingh joins his son on stage. The act rekindles Ramsingh's love for performance, and afterward he thanks Kajri for reviving his artistic life he had forgotten.

Ramsingh reaches out to Nabeel for support to restart the Jango Circus. He learns Masterji has passed away, and Nabeel demands 1.5 lakh rupees to buy out the old circus material. The debt with heavy costs creates a mounting barrier to revival.

Shahjahan lends Ramsingh 92 thousand rupees to fund the revival, showing the tight-knit support network around the troupe. Ramsingh begins assembling the components of a new circus.

Ramsingh's friend Cut is badly beaten by a bully who targets his dwarfness. Ramsingh uses Shahjahan's loan to cover Cut's hospital bills, keeping the troupe together through hardship.

Nabeel reconsiders his stance and provides all circus supplies free of cost, easing the financial burden. The new circus is assembled with renewed hope.

Despite the resurrection of the circus, Cut succumbs to his injuries. Shahjahan is angry about the death and Ramsingh decides to leave the new circus forever.

Years later, Chintu performs on stage as a young artist and thanks his father Ramsingh Charlie for his sacrifices and inspiration. The father’s life in the circus serves as a lasting legacy guiding Chintu's dreams.
