They deduced that the woman in the photo was Blackie's girlfriend and launched a citywide search through restaurants and public spots until they located her. Once found, they recruited her as an informant to get inside information about the gang's movements.

The photo found on Blackie early in the investigation becomes the crucial link that eventually helps Radar Patrol close in on the criminals.

OX-Q radar at Radar Patrol Headquarters used new tracking technology to spot a car carrying part of the stolen radioactive material.
