Set against the historic backdrop of Oxford, the film follows a group of undergraduate acting students as they mount a fresh production of Thomas Kyd’s “The Duchess of Malfi.” Amid rehearsals they grapple with personal troubles, compete for roles, and navigate tangled romances, while friendship and rivalry shape their intertwined lives. Shot on location at the university, it marks the first feature to be filmed within the actual Oxford campus.
