Pretty Cure Super Stars! (2018) Plot Summary Explained

Usobakka is actually Clover, a boy Hana knew as a child. He became consumed by darkness after she failed to keep her promise to meet him again, and he was manipulated by Dark Onibi. The monster's attacks on the Cures stem from Clover's emotional pain and the dark influence controlling him, not from any inherent malice toward the teams.
