Marie, a wayward fairy, is banished from her kingdom for mischievous deeds. She is transformed into a lifeless doll as punishment and sent to Earth. Her new form is later discovered by Danny and Rosie when they find the doll.

Danny and Rosie find the doll and, after cleaning it, Marie comes to life as a talking doll. At first, the siblings are frightened by this magical visitor. Marie offers companionship and a sense of wonder.

Marie transforms their shanty into a well-designed house, turns Danny's bike into a car, and even gives Rosie's voice a singing quality. The siblings revel in the newfound comforts and believe their luck will last.

Marie warns that her magic is temporary and will revert at midnight. The countdown creates tension as the siblings fear losing their gains at the stroke of twelve.

Danny accepts a drag race challenge from rival Jerry, wagering Marie's magical car as the prize. The event is a high-stakes test of skill and luck. The race takes place late at night and finishes past midnight.

Rosie auditions for a local singing contest, hoping to secure a more lasting life through success. The competition is stiff and watched by their classmates. The outcome is uncertain as the clock edges toward midnight.

When Rosie asks for her singing voice to remain, Marie extends the magic past the stated limit. The contest ends with Rosie winning, cementing their momentary comfort.

Back home, the siblings argue about abusing Marie's kindness and her generosity. Rosie slaps Marie, and the fairy reverts back into a lifeless doll. The magic collapses and their easy life disappears.

Marie returns to her fairy kingdom to reflect on her misdeeds. She seeks forgiveness from the Fairy Mother and Fairy Queen, who pardon her and restore her status as a fairy.

Grateful for the kindness shown while she was a doll, Marie forgives Danny and Rosie and restores their comfortable life permanently. She also promises to remember their generosity.

Berto, a poor student, sells banana-cue and becomes involved in a prank gone wrong involving Dolly and Sonny and Miss Dimatanganan. The incident leads to trouble at school.

Berto is kicked out of his aunt Petra's house and ends up at Irma's boarding house, where Dolly and Sonny join him as reluctant stowaways. They seek shelter and a fresh start with Irma's mother.

Dolly's father Don Enriquez discovers the boarding-house arrangement and forcibly brings Dolly back home. He later changes his mind after Dolly helps him realize the importance of family.

Berto recommits to his studies and returns to selling banana-cue, determined to improve. Dolly persuades Don Enriquez to contribute to Berto's tuition, and Sonny and Irma support the plan to reunite Berto with Aunt Petra. The film ends with the entire cast singing the theme song at graduation.
