The trouble lands him in hot water, and his Aunt Petra promptly ejected him from home, forcing him to seek shelter at Irma’s boarding house. There, Irma and her mother Mrs. Posadas reluctantly open their doors to him. To their surprise, Dolly and Sonny—neglected by their own families despite their comfortable lives—also end up at the boarding house, hiding out with the crew as a makeshift family.
