Each year Severino, a itinerant hawker who tours the Po Delta’s village festivals, comes back to Migliarino to hawk his curios and spin extravagant visions of progress. In the picturesque Marina he encounters three gullible, impoverished retirees, to whom he absurdly proposes purchasing a hectare of sky.
