Daffy Duck is excited while watching 'The QTTV Sportsman Hour', a hunting show where the host offers a $1,000 prize for the first viewer to bring a rabbit to Station QTTV. He tries to persuade Bugs Bunny to come to the station by offering TV show tickets, but Bugs suspects Daffy's plan and declines. Daffy then threatens Bugs at gunpoint to participate.

Daffy traps Bugs in a telephone booth outside Station QTTV and runs into the studio, intent on winning the prize himself. Bugs gets a call inside the booth and answers a question correctly, winning a jackpot from the show 'People Are Phoney'. Daffy remains outside, suspicious but determined to seize the opportunity.
