Pedal follows New York City’s legendary bike messengers as they race through traffic to meet relentless delivery deadlines. The fast‑paced documentary, directed by Sutherland and produced by Ana Lombardo, captures diverse riders’ daily battles on the streets. It debuted at SXSW in 2001 and later aired on the Sundance Channel through 2004.
