The Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Special Vehicle Section is called in to untangle the mystery. Leading the effort is Captain Gotoh, a pragmatic commander whose steady presence anchors the unit. By his side works Sgt. Asuma Shinohara, a seasoned officer with intimate knowledge of the Labor technology, and Shigeo Shiba, the crew’s hands‑on mechanic whose practical ingenuity often saves the day.
