Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

The movie begins in 1988 with a shocking incident where a supernatural entity brutally snaps Dennis backward, leading to his untimely death. This event sets the tone for the sinister happenings to come in the story.

Following the traumatic incident, Grandma Lois arrives at the scene to comfort and guide young Katie and Kristi. She introduces them to their new teacher, Kent, who claims to have an important role in their future.

Fast forward to 2013, we meet the Fleege family in Santa Rosa, California, where Dad Ryan is trying to create stability for his daughter Leila. However, tension arises as his brother Mike hides out in their home after a breakup, much to Emily's disapproval.

While sorting through some old belongings, Ryan and Mike stumble upon an old camera and a collection of disturbing tapes. One tape shows childhood footage of Katie and Kristi, while another captures a sinister interaction with Kent that leaves Ryan feeling uneasy.

As the Christmas holiday approaches, odd occurrences intensify. Ryan records Leila decorating the tree, only to notice odd particles floating in the air and hearing unsettling underwater sounds, heightening the foreboding atmosphere.

Leila begins to display alarming behavior, pressed against the bathroom mirror with blood on her hand. She recites something in reverse, which draws Ryan’s attention, leading to a chilling moment when they discover she’s chanting 'Bloody Mary.'

On the first night of documenting their experiences, Ryan captures a dark figure hovering beside Leila as she sleeps. Leila converses cheerfully with the entity she calls Toby, which disappears the moment Ryan enters the room, leaving him terrified.

Ryan and Mike invite Skyler to go through the footage together, uncovering a disturbing familial history lacking any recordings of Katie and Kristi's mother. They become increasingly intrigued and concerned about Kent's cult-like teachings.

During an outing, Mike and Skyler observe strange happenings, including a ripple in the pool that leads them to find Leila alone in the woods. Their bond with Toby continues to grow increasingly alarming as they realize the entity's influence over her.

On the sixth night, the family's nightmare peaks when Skyler meets a horrific fate at the hands of the dark entity. Ryan and Emily’s desperate attempts to contain the malevolent force come to a tragic end, as chaos erupts around them.

Emily's frantic search leads her to the basement of Katie and Kristi’s childhood home, where she confronts terrifying manifestations of the sisters. Facing Toby's monstrous form, she pleads for mercy, culminating in her heartbreaking demise and Leila's disappearance with Toby.
