Siva entrusts Chitralekha with a Rudrakshamala, a symbol of her future mission on earth. He advises that she must wear it as she travels and interacts with humans. This gift marks her impending entry into the mortal world and the moral tests to come.

Chitralekha bathes with a companion when seven saints bar her passage. In response, she curses them to be idiots, provoking their mentor Aruna Keerti to warn that she would lose celestial status if she meets a human again. The incident binds her fate to the mortal realm.

Following Aruna Keerti’s guidance, the seven saints leave their former path and become disciples of the Spiritual Adviser Paramanandayya. They seek to grow in wisdom and assist the earthbound drama unfolding around Nandivardhana and Chitralekha.

The evil Chief Minister Sivanandam hatches a plan to assassinate Paramanandayya in a forest, using his acolyte Jagga Rayudu. The plot adds a dangerous political layer to the spiritual conflict at the heart of the story.

Nandivardhana detects the Rudrakshamala and, ignoring the warning signs, wears it. This act propels him into a direct encounter with Chitralekha and the unfolding celestial-test dynamic. The moment marks a crucial turn in their evolving bond.

During an accidental encounter, Nandivardhana’s touch causes Chitralekha to lose her celestial status. He falls for her immediately, while she contemplates how to restore her angelhood. Paramanandayya counsels penance as the path to redemption.

The seven disciples perform various trials—protecting from snakes and thieves, triggering hidden treasure, and more—to curry Paramanandayya’s favor. Their antics reveal their devotion, even as their mentor pushes them toward greater service. The rift between human and celestial is further tested by their actions.

Ranjani grows jealous and misreads Nandivardhana, but Chitralekha’s influence guides him toward a more virtuous path. The love triangle becomes a catalyst for personal growth and sets the stage for a deeper bond between Nandivardhana and Chitralekha.

Chitralekha is seized by Jagga Rayudu, and Nandivardhana mounts a daring rescue to reclaim her. The act deepens their bond and reinforces their commitment to face the trials ahead together.
