Paradise City (2022) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

The ending of Paradise City reveals that Ian Swan, believed to have been killed, was actually alive and in hiding, fake death to protect himself and Maui from Buckley’s true plans. Buckley, who is secretly Terrance Billford and has undergone plastic surgery, is a corrupt politician connected to the cartel, aiming to turn Maui into a drug hub and continue his criminal activities. Ryan, with the help of Ian and Robbie, ultimately confronts Buckley at his fortress, the Golden Throne.
