Alan lives in a warehouse studio where he shoots his movies with the help of friends Rudy and Liz. Rudy’s girlfriend Julie also becomes entangled in Alan’s schemes. When Alan meets and falls for a beautiful young woman named Chirsty, he becomes obsessed with filming their romance as the perfect love story, causing life to imitate his cinematic fantasy.
