Os Trapalhões no Reino da Fantasia

The St. Jude orphanage, run by Irmã Maria, Xuxa, faces crushing financial strain that could endanger the children’s future. After a simple moment watching a cartoon, Irmã Maria conceives a hopeful plan: recruit the Trapalhões—the unconditional friends of children—to stage a fundraiser that might rescue the home. Didi, [Renato Aragão], Dedé, [Dedé Santana], Mussum, [Mussum], and Zacarias, [Zacarias], take the stage for a special show that swiftly fills the venue with energy, drawing a large and cheering crowd.

The performance is a hit, but trouble soon arrives: a gang of bandits led by Maurício do Valle intends to steal the money raised. Irmã Maria notices the theft and tries to intervene, but the criminals overpower her and the performers, slipping away with the bag of funds. A worried Dedé, missing Didi on stage, sets off to search and finds the two unconscious. Didi, Dedé, and the determined troupe launch a wild, uplifting chase after the bandits, filled with adventures and misadventures, even as a mysterious Bruxo—voiced by Jos Vasconcelos—throws magical interruptions in their path.

The pursuit leads the thieves to the Beto Carrero Rodeo, where they attempt a disguise as cowboys to shake off the追踪. Beto Carrero recognizes Didi and comes to his aid, joining the chase and helping turn the tide in a burst of action and humor as the bag is pursued back toward the theater. Meanwhile, Mussum and Zacarias keep the show alive with their onstage chaos, adding to the spectacle while Didi, Dedé, and the others press onward behind them. The Trapalhões are eventually pressed to safety by a mysterious weapon, and the crowd erupts in applause as Irmã Maria explains to the audience what happened throughout the performance. In a final twist, Didi realizes he’s been carrying the wrong bag and that the money isn’t there after all; but the moment is sweetened by a surprising, joyful ending that hints at even grander plans to come.
