Once More

Vijay, a young businessman whose sole aim is to have fun, runs a large tea estate in Ooty but his mismanagement causes heavy losses. He spends most of his time partying and flirting, neglecting the business. The company begins to falter as a result.

To salvage the situation, Vijay invites his father Rajashekar from the United States to India to sign essential documents. Tragically, Rajashekar dies in a plane crash while on the journey. The absence of his father creates a need for a temporary stand-in.

Vijay's maternal uncle Ashok suggests using an elderly man as a stand-in father until the documents can be signed. They visit a senior home in Coimbatore to find a suitable volunteer. Selvam, one of the inmates, agrees to pretend to be Vijay's father.

Selvam begins to act in the role and soon shows genuine affection for Vijay, treating him like his own son. He is reminded of his own younger days and cares deeply for the boy's welfare. Vijay starts to rely on the elder's guidance.

Through Selvam's life story, Vijay learns that Selvam was married to Shantha and they have been living separately for 34 years. Vijay becomes determined to bring Shantha and Selvam back together. This insight shifts the mission from a mere ruse to a heartfelt goal.
