The Countess, a 400-year-old vampire, travels with an army of young vampires across centuries, maintaining her youth through a ritual that requires drinking the blood of a male virgin three times by Halloween each year. She dispatches her minions into Los Angeles to locate a virgin before the holiday. The looming deadline puts the city on edge as Halloween approaches.

Virgin high school student Mark Kendall heads to a Hollywood singles bar with his best friends Russ and Jamie, hoping to meet someone before Halloween. He aims to prove himself to his girlfriend Robin by meeting someone new. The Countess's minions sense Mark's virginity and begin tracking him, setting the trap for later that night.

The Countess lures Mark from the bar and transports him to her mansion, where she seduces him and bites his thigh, rendering him unconscious. He wakes up with no memory of their encounter. The Countess manipulates him into believing they have slept together and tries to keep him under her influence.

Back home, Mark awakens to a false memory, convinced by the Countess that they had sex. He confesses he has a girlfriend, yet she persists with the ruse and asks to see him again. The deception deepens as his behavior and cravings begin to emerge.

The Countess kidnaps Robin to lure Mark to her mansion for the final bite, dragging the teens into a dangerous game of capture and rescue. With Russ and Jamie in tow, Mark makes his way to the mansion to rescue Robin. The plan escalates as the house reveals its deadly traps and minions.
