To secure the freedom of his leader, Aslam, a terrorist named Anwar orchestrates a grand attack in the bustling city of Hyderabad. He employs two trucks to create simultaneous accidents on either end of a crowded viaduct, effectively immobilizing a multitude of vehicles on the bridge. However, in a turn of events, the bombs he meticulously planted fail to explode as intended; the individual responsible for activating them is unreachable and absent. As doubts begin to creep into Anwar's mind, he panics at the prospect of his grand scheme unraveling.
Amongst the jammed motorists caught in the chaos are Krishna Vachan and Satyabhama, who find their vehicles positioned next to each other. During their brief encounter, they engage in a conversation, and a spark of attraction ignites between them. Krishna soon discovers that Satyabhama, affectionately known as "Mango," is actually his childhood crush, a girl he has long sought after. Eager to reconnect, he tries to hand her his phone number, but due to his shyness, he opts to write it on a large piece of paper and holds it up for her to see.
From a nearby vantage point, Anwar observes Krishna's attempt and devises a plan to salvage his failing operation. He uses the number written on the paper to call Krishna, aiming to prove his seriousness by shooting a bird near the two. This act of violence convinces Krishna that Anwar has the power to harm Mango at any moment. > "If you don't follow my orders, I can kill her," Anwar threatens, enforcing his will on Krishna, who is now compelled to comply.
Anwar coerces Krishna into performing a series of risky electrical tasks on the viaduct, ensuring that Mango remains in a nearby rickshaw. Reluctantly, Krishna goes along with Anwar's demands, unaware that his actions have unknowingly activated the bombs placed on the bridge. To add to the peril, electrified wires positioned at both ends of the viaduct threaten to kill anyone trying to cross.
After spending hours stuck in traffic, Mango resolves to leave the scene. Krishna, desperate to persuade her to stay, struggles to communicate the grave reality of their situation, which leads to misunderstanding. His intense efforts to stop her alarm the surrounding crowd, causing them to believe he is harassing her. In the moment of confusion, Krishna pulls out the gun to clear the crowd but inadvertently escalates the panic when Anwar shoots a bystander, framing Krishna for the act. As chaos ensues, he warns everyone about the electrified wires that perilously await at both ends of the bridge.
Authorities and media personnel soon swarm the area, branding Krishna as the terrorist responsible for the siege of the viaduct. Under Anwar's orders, he is instructed to demand a meeting with not just the Police Commissioner but also the Home Minister, with an ominous threat to kill the Home Minister's daughter if his demands aren't met. Unbeknownst to Krishna, the daughter in question is none other than Mango, giving Anwar a sinister control over the situation. Conjuring more demands, Anwar commands Krishna to ask for Aslam's release, but Krishna stands firm in his refusal.
In a twist, Anwar's accomplice, the one intended to activate the bombs, loses faith in their violent mission and surrenders to the police. He reveals the truth, leading authorities to realize that Krishna is merely an unwilling participant entangled in Anwar's manipulation. They conduct a raid on Anwar's hideout, only to discover that he has narrowly evaded capture.
A Deputy Inspector General of Police arrives, offering to negotiate with Krishna right on the bridge. Unknown to everyone, he is actually Anwar disguised. In their conversation, the DIG pleads with Krishna, claiming that Anwar is holding his children captive, urging him to cooperate. However, Krishna quickly catches onto inconsistencies in the DIG's narrative and confronts him at gunpoint, recognizing him as Anwar.
In a moment of rage, Anwar reveals his true self and brandishes the bomb detonator, attempting to coerce Krishna into submission. But before he can execute his plan, the crowd overwhelms him, successfully bringing the crisis to an end and rescuing the hostages.
In the aftermath of this intense drama, Krishna finds his way back to Mango, and the two, against all odds, reunite and eventually embark on a journey of love that leads them to marriage.
