During the 1948 Arab-Israeli conflict, two American friends—one Jewish and one Arab—are caught up in the fight for Jerusalem. As the city's future hangs in the balance, their personal stories intertwine with those of others facing difficult choices. The film examines themes of courage, sacrifice, and morality amidst the chaos and turmoil of the struggle, drawing parallels to contemporary Middle Eastern conflicts.
