Guru, Dhana, Parthi, Dass, and Samba devote themselves to fighting fires and saving lives even before they officially join. They continue patrolling and aiding in emergencies, becoming known for their courage. Narayanamoorthy, the zonal fire officer, praises their selfless work and promises them jobs once they clear the exam.

On the night before the exam, Dhana reveals he was assaulted by Sadha while returning home from visiting his sister. He describes Sadha as the right-hand man of a feared city don and the brutal nature of the assault. The revelation unsettles the group and strengthens their resolve to face what’s coming.

The friends go to the place of the assault and discover Sadha dead. It seems his fall from the attack caused his death, indicating an accident rather than a deliberate murder. They also learn Sadha served under Ravi, the city’s feared don, tying the murder to a larger criminal web.

The group seeks assistance from MLA Kabali, a friend of Guru, but Kabali warns that Ravi will come to avenge Sadha and cannot be stopped by him. He explains Ravi’s power makes any intervention futile. The friends realize they may need to take matters into their own hands.

At Sadha’s burial, Ravi asks Soori who killed Sadha. Soori, drunk and unable to answer, cannot provide a clear response, which enrages Ravi. In a furious act, Ravi kills Soori, removing a key witness against the friends.

Samba and Parthi inform Guru that they have kidnapped Ravi, hoping to use him to draw out the truth about Sadha’s death. The plan seems to threaten to spiral out of control as Ravi’s fate becomes uncertain. The situation intensifies as all sides circle each other.

Ravi manages to escape the kidnapping and confronts the five friends. He does not trust their motives and, after a tense exchange, the group releases him when it becomes clear that he is not the kidnapper. The close call deepens the rift between Ravi and Guru’s circle.

Ravi pursues the truth and interrogates Kabali, who reveals everything about Sadha’s death and the kidnapping. Kabali confirms the friends’ involvement in the grim events, prompting Ravi to pursue them directly. This sets the stage for a direct confrontation.

Guru engages Ravi and his henchmen in combat, defeating the henchmen but choosing to spare Ravi’s life. He tells Ravi that Sadha’s death appeared to be an accident and urges him to abandon vengeance. Ravi remains determined to strike at Guru and his loved ones.

Some days later, Guru’s father Manikkam is killed, fueling Guru’s drive for revenge. When Guru reaches Ravi’s place, he finds Ravi and his henchmen dead, and Commissioner Ramkumar reveals that Ravi was killed earlier, before Manikkam.

Vasumathi and Guru’s friends are kidnapped, and Annam, Sadha’s transgender wife, is revealed to be the mastermind seeking vengeance. Annam confronts Ravi, claiming Sadha loved her and that Guru shattered her life; Ravi refuses to help kill Guru or his friends because Sadha’s death was an accident.

Annam executes Ravi and his henchmen, removing one more pillar of Ravi’s crime world. Her actions escalate the vendetta and deepen the cycle of violence surrounding Sadha’s death.

Annam continues her revenge by killing Guru’s father Manikkam, sealing the personal cost of the war between the Don’s world and Guru’s group.

Dhana escapes and pushes Annam into a burning pyre, while Guru saves Vasumathi, his friends, and Annam. He apologizes to Annam for Sadha’s death, and she forgives him, moved by his gesture.

The five friends finally write and pass the exam, joining the city fire service. They rush to a site to save people, putting into practice everything they’ve learned and continuing their lifelong mission to save lives.
