Naai Sekar Returns

In 1989, Natarajan, his wife, and his mother-in-law visit the God Bairava temple to pray for a child. A storm drives in a visiting saint who offers them prasad and, to their astonishment, gifts them a dog named Bhairavar. The saint proclaims the dog has powers that will bring fortune and solve their problems.

Following the saint's blessing, Natarajan's wife becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son. The family’s lorry business prospers, and their fortunes rise alongside Bhairavar’s legend. They name the dog Bhairavar as the symbol of their luck.

A servant named Meganathan alias Max is hired to look after Bhairavar after Sekar's family notices the dog's influence. Max grows curious about the dog’s fortune and begins plotting to take it for himself. His presence plants the seed of future trouble.

Max kidnaps Bhairavar after learning about the dog's fortune from a drunk Natarajan. The family’s luck turns to misfortune: Sekar's mother dies and Natarajan vanishes while searching for his dog. The once prosperous household spirals as Bhairavar is lost.

In present-day times, Naai Sekar becomes a petty criminal who extorts money by kidnapping rich people's dogs for ransom. He operates with a small gang and a growing reputation for ruthless efficiency. His new racket sets him on a collision course with powerful adversaries.

During a ransom operation, Sekar attempts to kidnap a rich man's dog but accidentally seizes Dass's dog instead. He successfully collects a ransom from Dass, but Dass and his henchmen soon track them down and beat the gang. The misstep escalates the conflict between Sekar and Dass.

Back at Sekar's home, his grandmother scolds him for his criminal path and recounts the long, troubled history of his family. The revelation casts a new light on Sekar's choices and hints at the fateful bond with Bhairavar. Her warnings foreshadow the consequences to come.

Sekar travels to the Lala Palace in Hyderabad to retrieve Bhairavar. He pretends to be blind to gain entry, exploiting Max's plan to marry his sister Bobby to a blind man. The infiltration marks a turning point in his quest to reclaim the dog.

Inside the palace, Sekar witnesses Max murder his girlfriend Gora, exposing Max's brutal ruthlessness. The discovery cements Sekar's resolve to finish the dog he believes is Bhairavar and undermines any notion of a peaceful resolution.

Sekar passes a gauntlet of tests set by Max, convincing him to proceed with the plan. He schemes to pretend a wedding on Friday and invites his two friends, advancing his ruse to secure Bhairavar. The stage is set for a dramatic confrontation.

Dass is discharged from the hospital and learns that Sekar is in Hyderabad via a contact, Surangani. The update fuels the rivalry as both sides push toward a final clash over Bhairavar.

Sekar kidnaps Max's dog Jackie, declaring it Bhairavar, but Max catches him. Bhairavar bites Max, and Sekar disarms him to shoot Max in the same spot where Dass was shot. Arumugam arrives to arrest Sekar, but Sekar exposes Dass's and Max's crimes; Bhairavar is reunited with Sekar, and they drive away from Lala Palace.
