Maritess, Anna Marin, is introduced as a newlywed wife to Dodo, Ronald Bregendahl. Joey, Lorna Tolentino, is a free-spirited drug user who moves through a string of affairs with different men while navigating a tense, often fraught relationship with her mother Maggie, Laurice Guillen. When she seeks an abortion, she discovers she has not only financial obstacles but emotional ones as well. After a miscarriage, she is stunned to learn she may not be able to have children, a revelation that deepens her sense of uncertainty about the future. Jerry joins a rebellion in the mountains, and his choice sparks a new dynamic: he asks Joey to let his wife Nita, Mia Gutierrez, stay with her to help, until tragedy strikes with Jerry’s death. Nita’s arrival adds another layer to Joey’s world as she contributes, learns, and ultimately leaves to join the cause, changing how Joey views loyalty and family.

Sylvia, Sandy Andolong, has separated from her husband Robert, Juan Rodrigo, yet they continue to share custody of their son and maintain a fragile friendship with Robert’s partner Celso, Lito Pimentel. Sylvia’s life takes a sharp turn when she meets Ernie, Ernie Garcia, a colleague at the school where she teaches, and they begin a serious relationship—the kind she hadn’t experienced since her marriage. The relationship unravels when a woman arrives claiming to be Ernie’s wife and revealing that Ernie has abandoned another wife in the province. This discovery strains Sylvia’s trust, and she ends things with Ernie, choosing honesty and distance over a complicated life entangled in secrets.

Kathy, Gina Alajar, is a mediocre singer with big dreams, and her path is shaped by JM, Claire de la Fuente, her sharp talent agent who emphasizes image over raw talent. JM consoles and pressures Kathy in equal measure, guiding her toward a persona of a spiritual hippie in interviews while demanding favors in private. Kathy also becomes entangled with a high-powered executive, Mr. Suarez, Jessie Ramos, who promises stardom but offers only a temporary glitter. Throughout, Kathy questions whether her public image really serves her voice, and she ultimately chooses to step back from recording, singing only for personal enjoyment and to improve her craft.

Across these intertwined paths, the film stays grounded in the everyday realities of these women—marital strain, motherhood challenges, professional ambitions, and the searches for autonomy and authenticity.
