The four inmates, Keshavan, Benny, Krishnankutty, and Venu, escaped after learning from a newspaper that Amitabh Bachchan was filming nearby in Ernakulam. Their shared admiration for the Bollywood superstar motivated them to break out, believing they could glimpse cinema glory. However, when they arrived in Ernakulam, they discovered the newspaper was outdated and Bachchan had already left the area a month earlier.

After escaping with the group, Venu went missing the next morning. He had found work as a singer in the city, which explains his disappearance. His older brother Balan and warden Ameen later pursued him, but he had already established a new life pursuing his singing career.

Leena's father opposed Benny because he viewed him as unstable, citing his history as a mental hospital patient. Despite Benny having rebuilt his life and become a painter in Ernakulam, the father refused to bless their marriage. He even hired a goon named Bheem Singh to intimidate Benny into leaving his daughter alone.

Two conmen, Vasu and Abdullah, disguised themselves as a TV serial producer and director. They recruited the four men under the pretense of filming a TV show, teaching them martial arts, rock climbing, and break-dancing. In reality, they wanted to keep the quartet away from the rented house during the day while they dug a tunnel beneath it to access a nearby bank. His behavior reflected his erratic nature and the group's precarious situation. Benny intervened and rescued him from what could have resulted in serious legal consequences.
