In 1970s New Orleans, a charismatic but troubled man named Joe Fine moves his family from Brooklyn, hoping for a fresh start. He indulges his loved ones with extravagant gifts and a luxurious lifestyle, but this outward display hides a deeper struggle. His apparel business is failing, and a simmering anger threatens to unravel the fragile peace he’s trying to create for his family.
