The camellia girl. Orphaned after her parents die, Midori survives by selling flowers and is taken in by a traveling fairground troupe. There she endures abuse and forced labor, living in near‑slavery. Her bleak existence begins to change when a mysterious, diminutive magician appears, offering her a glimmer of hope and the promise of a brighter future.
