In 2015, Miso works as a housekeeper, but her income barely covers basic necessities. When her landlord raises the rent, she takes on more work to make ends meet. She worries she won't be able to cover everything before the year ends.

Facing rising costs, she decides to drop rent altogether to save money. She drafts a list of her former band-mates and plans to stay with each for a while while she regroupes. This marks a drastic turn in her living situation.

Her first attempt to stay with a band-mate is rejected, who cites Miso's high-pressure job as the reason she can't host. The rejection underscores the precariousness of her plan and the social fragility of relying on friends.

Hyeon Jeong, a keyboard player, warmly welcomes Miso into her marital home. Hyeon's husband privately objects, arguing that a guest would burden his parents, and the couple argue loudly. The next morning, Miso cooks for a friend before leaving.

Miso stays with Dae Yong, who has a spare room after his marriage breaks down. Her boyfriend, who is living in an all-male dorm, expresses anxiety about Miso staying with a male friend. Eventually, Miso moves out and spends the night in a restaurant.

Miso visits guitarist Woo Moon Gi, whose parents are visibly elated and conspicuously hint at marriage for their son. He offers a welcoming, supportive space as she continues her search for cheap lodging.

Choi Jeong-mi, though well-off, tells Miso she can stay as long as she wants. With rent removed from the equation, Miso begins to save money, though her boyfriend's plans still loom over her.

Meanwhile, Miso's boyfriend reveals he is fed up with their Spartan life and has volunteered for an assignment in Saudi Arabia to help pay his debts. The move signals a possible long separation and further strain on their relationship.

During a tense conversation with Choi Jeong-mi's husband, Miso mentions her wild past. Choi Jeong-mi appears irked by the remark, and Miso is ultimately asked to leave.

Miso visits multiple apartments, each progressively worse and still beyond her means. The endless hunt highlights how precarious her housing situation remains.

Cutting forward an unknown amount of time, all band-mates except Miso meet at a funeral and share perfunctory memories about her. The gathering hints at distances that have grown between Miso and her former circle.

A greying-haired woman resembling Miso is shown walking along a road and later settles in a portable tent pitched beside a highway. The ending leaves her fate open to interpretation.
