Mickey’s Rival

Mickey stands by his car, getting ready for a picnic with Minnie. He checks the supplies and looks forward to a quiet day together. The mood is hopeful as he waits for Minnie to arrive.

Mortimer drives up in his sleek sports car and greets Minnie with a gleam in his eye. He backs up and crashes into Mickey's car, shoving it against a tree. The collision startles everyone and kicks off the day’s rivalry.

Mortimer taunts Mickey and parades a fake arm sleeve as a joke. He slips two buttons from his shorts, which are wired to batteries. When Mickey tries to grab them, the setup electrocutes him, drawing laughs from Mortimer.

Mickey’s car rams Mortimer’s vehicle away and rattles its engine to scare it. Mortimer laughs and taunts him, quipping the line 'Never a dull moment!' The confrontation escalates while the picnic plans drift into tension.

Mortimer switches to showmanship as he spots a bull and tries to impress Minnie with a bullfight. He grips the red blanket and uses it to provoke the bull, causing it to charge the pens’ fencing. Minnie applauds, while Mickey, irritated, breaks a teacup, and storms off to his car.

Mortimer spots trouble as the bull becomes enraged when the gate is left open and yelps before fleeing. He drops the blanket over Minnie, leaving her to deal with the bull while he escapes in his car. Minnie is left alone, clutching the blanket and looking startled.

Minnie drags the blanket as she runs and climbs a tree to escape the bull. Mickey and his car hear the commotion and realize Minnie is in danger. They position themselves to help, bracing for a way to reach her safely.

Mickey bravely moves to stop the bull but gets knocked around and ends up stuck under it for a moment. The bull continues its charge, threatening Minnie as she remains high in the tree. Mickey struggles but keeps his focus on protecting Minnie.

He bites the bull’s tail to trigger a jump and create an opening to escape. The bull charges again, sending Minnie tumbling from the tree but she lands safely. Mickey and Minnie regroup, shaken but unharmed.

Mickey engages again with the bull, using the red blanket but becomes tangled and cannot run fast. He manages to retreat by grabbing a branch with his mouth and shifting away, while the bull tires itself.

Mickey’s car realizes its owner's in danger and pushes the bull away. It bites the bull’s tail and leads it on a chase using its red taillight, tiring the animal. The car also splashes mud with its rear wheels to distract the bull.

The car creates a cloud of dust around the bull, confusing it and enabling the group to escape. On the way home, Mickey asks Minnie if Mortimer is still funny, and Minnie says no, noting they’re friends again. They share a handshake, revitalized by the day's events.
