Conny leaves her husband, crime writer Bert, because he spends nights in pubs with his circle and younger women. She moves from Berlin to Munich with their kids. There she confuses her daughter's new teacher with the renovation carpenter, giving the teacher a chance to court her. Realizing he wants a stable home, Bert travels to Munich to win her back.
