Brigitte, a lawyer in Graz, is shocked to discover her daughter Anna-Lena intends to marry a much older man. To her surprise, the groom is Richie, Brigitte’s childhood sweetheart and a popular Austropop rock star. Determined to stop the wedding, Brigitte teams up with Richie’s son, Michael, devising a plan involving Michael pretending to be Anna-Lena’s ideal partner. However, Michael proves to be an unlikely choice, leading to a humorous and lighthearted comedy set in Graz, featuring a talented ensemble cast.
