A gothic erotic mystery follows Marco, who stays at his uncle’s house after the uncle’s wife—Marco’s aunt—dies. The only other resident is the uncle’s sister‑in‑law. Each night Marco watches a red‑haired woman perform sensual rituals; she is the likeness of his dead aunt. He wonders whether she is the sister‑in‑law disguised as the aunt or a haunting presence.
