When her touring act is canceled, witty showgirl Maisie Ravier is stranded in a Wyoming town. Foreman Charles “Slim” Martin accuses her of stealing his wallet, and she is hired as a maid by ranch owners Cliff and Sybil, who are trying to mend their marriage after Sybil’s affair with a cowboy. Maisie's sharp humor eases tension into comic chaos.
