Love on Delivery

Ho Kam-ang, a kind delivery boy, develops feelings for Lily at the local fitness center. His romantic dream is crushed when Black Bear interrupts a potential date, and Lily bluntly tells him she dislikes weak and pathetic men.

Bested by Black Bear, Ho is humiliated and seeks shelter at Gwai-wong Tat's convenience store. Tat pretends to offer martial training in exchange for money, exploiting Ho's gullibility.

Tat shows off flashy, useless fantasy kung fu moves and pretends they will make Ho strong. Ho's hope for real improvement grows, even as the training proves hollow.

Ho watches Tat fall down stairs and survive, convincing himself that the 'Invincible Windfire Spin' might work in real life. The moment solidifies his misguided resolve to improve through the trick.

To win Lily's respect, Ho confronts Black Bear at the parking lot, wearing a Garfield mask and defeating him using the 'Spin' technique. The act makes Lily notice him, though she remains wary.

Lily introduces her ex-schoolmate, Dai-si-hing, a karate champion who falsely claims to be the Garfield Warrior who saved Lily. Ho feels mocked and vows to prove himself.

Ho, egged on by pride, drags Tat to the fitness center with a challenge against Dai-si-hing. Tat's past is revealed later, complicating the rivalry.

Dai-si-hing easily defeats a Taekwondo master, a Kendo master, a boxer, and Black Bear, exposing Tat as a former world-class champion who had fallen from grace after a broken leg in Japan. This revelation spurs Tat to train Ho with renewed purpose.

Tat agrees to train Ho for a month to prepare for the match. A side bet states that if Ho survives all three rounds, kung fu will regain its public image. The public watches with growing curiosity.

As the match approaches, reporters follow Ho and Tat, eager to witness a delivery boy becoming a rival martial artist. Instead of rigorous drills, Ho and Tat spend time partying, which unnerves spectators but becomes their unorthodox training.

Lily rushes to the stadium to cancel the fight but is trapped in a malfunctioning elevator. Ho enters the ring as the underdog favorite, his fearlessness turning into psychological pressure on Dai-si-hing.

In round one, Ho confuses Dai-si-hing by standing still. In round two, Tat instructs Ho to wear his opponent down with submissions while distracting him. Round three features Ho locking in the Golden Snake Restraint, pushing Dai-si-hing to the edge.

Ho triggers the Invincible Wind and Fire Spin during a final clash, using a lottery wheel to unleash the move. The wheel explodes and Ho emerges victorious while Lily kisses him, and kung fu is reintroduced to the public.
