The ending of Love Me, Love Me resolves the central love triangle while exposing the darker forces manipulating the characters throughout the story. The film's climactic moments reveal that Austin, James' stepfather and MMA trainer, has been exploiting James for financial gain by doping him with steroids to ensure wins in underground fights. When James stops taking the drugs at June's urging, Austin decides to eliminate him entirely. He manipulates Will—James' best friend who has been hurt by the romance between June and James—into fighting James in a match designed to end in death. However, June intervenes by triggering a fire alarm, saving James from being killed in the ring.

Austin's desperation leads him to abduct James, but June once again comes to the rescue. The stepfather's car crashes during the confrontation, and while he escapes the wreckage, his crimes have been fully exposed. James will almost certainly report Austin to the authorities, ensuring his stepfather faces justice for years of exploitation and manipulation. This revelation also repairs James' relationship with his father, Jordan, as he finally understands that Jordan's distance was an attempt to protect his children from Austin's toxic influence.

As for the romance, the truth about Austin's manipulation brings clarity to everyone involved. Will realizes he was being used as a pawn and forgives both James and June for their hidden relationship. With the obstacles removed and their parents likely accepting the relationship—especially given that Jordan is June's mother's boss—James and June are free to be together. The film closes on a hopeful note, suggesting that the couple has a genuine future ahead of them, built on honesty rather than the secrets and manipulation that once threatened to tear them apart.
