Lemonade Joe

Lemonade Joe rides into Stetson City and steps into the Trigger Whisky Saloon, where his presence instantly commands attention. He demonstrates remarkable gunfighting skill and speaks warmly of Kolaloka, the non-alcoholic soft drink, to win over the crowd. The saloon patrons are intrigued by his blend of bravado and teetotal rhetoric, and the idea of teetotalism begins to take root.

Two evangelists, Ezra Goodman and his daughter Winnifred, begin a temperance campaign in the bar but meet stiff resistance from the hard-drinking cowboys. The saloon crowd ridicules their message as old rivalries flare. Amid the row, Joe and Winnifred begin to connect, his charm softening her resolve.

In a dramatic turn, Horace 'Hogofogo, the Master Criminal of the Wild West' makes a public entrance that unsettles the bar. He publicly persuades the Kolaloka customers to return to Trigger Whisky, threatening the teetotaling business's survival. Joe remains unaware of Hogofogo's real schemes as the villain begins to consolidate power.

Joe rides out into the prairie, testing his skills and distance from the town's turmoil. A desert mirage reveals that Hogofogo has his sights on Winnifred and intends to derail Joe's relationship with her. The revelation sets the stage for a direct confrontation back in Stetson City.

Joe returns to face Hogofogo's plot and rescues Winnifred from danger, barely escaping with his life. In the ensuing struggle, Joe's account book falls to the ground, exposing his real job as a traveling salesman for Kolalok & Son. Startled but moved, Winnifred learns the truth and begins to look at Joe through new eyes.

Having learned Joe's true identity, Winnifred openly pledges her love, while Tornado Lou also finds herself smitten with him. Joe returns to the Trigger Whisky Saloon and, with renewed showmanship, wins back the crowd for Kolaloka. The crowd's allegiance shifts away from whisky once more, at least for the moment.

Hogofogo disguises himself as a blind piano tuner and uses the disguise to kidnap Winnifred, luring Joe toward Dead Man's Valley. The plan is to trap Joe and eliminate the growing power of Kolaloka through fear. The stage is set for a perilous pursuit into the valley.

In Dead Man's Valley, Hogofogo's henchmen, led by Grimpo, capture Joe and torture him to break his will. Tornado Lou has a change of heart and comes to Joe's rescue, reuniting him with Winnifred. The rescue marks a temporary victory for Kolaloka and its allies.

Back in the town, Joe confronts Hogofogo in a tense duel to force him to sign a testimonial for Kolaloka. Hogofogo replies with a volley of gunfire, leaving Joe apparently dead. The town reels as the plan to sway public opinion seems to end in tragedy.

In the Stetson City cemetery, Hogofogo finally tries to kidnap Winnifred again, only to be stopped by Tornado Lou, who is killed in the process. Doug Badman shoots Hogofogo, who dies, and Hogofogo fatally wounds Doug in his death throes. Joe arrives, alive and well, and his discovery of these bodies triggers the next miracle.

Lemonade Joe returns to life, and he discovers that the dying bodies bear his birthmarks, revealing that they are his long-lost siblings. He revives them all with the same Kolaloka medicine that saved him. The miraculous revelation sets the stage for a family reunion and a shared destiny.

Mr. Kolalok, Joe's father and owner of Kolalok & Son, arrives just in time for a happy ending. The family and their allies decide to merge their businesses to create a new drink, Whiskola, symbolizing unity between Kolaloka and whiskey. The town cheers as the new venture promises prosperity for all.

The newly allied Kolalok family celebrates with the wedding of Winnifred and Lemonade Joe. They ride off into the sunset in a stagecoach, while the town welcomes the merger into Whiskola. The final image is a hopeful promise of a future where temperance and enterprise go hand in hand.
