The crew of a fishing boat returns, having caught only a tiny fish. To avoid embarrassment they claim 300 kg mackerel. The port authority, craving a success story, inflates the catch into tons of bonito, then a dolphin, finally a whale. The false report sparks celebrations, honors and awards, yet no whale ever exists—exposing the officials’ folly.
