Set in 1000 A.D., a young Leif Ericson flees plundering Iceland for Greenland. He falls for a beautiful slave girl, but his disapproving father blocks the romance. Leif then sails into uncharted seas to seek his destiny in the New World. When he learns his father is in danger, he returns, then sets out again to rescue his father and win his true love.
