In the late 1980s, a photographer who has kept his work politically neutral in Pinochet‑ruled Chile wrestles with the lingering trauma of his activist brother’s 1975 disappearance at the notorious Villa Grimaldi torture centre, confronting both personal loss and the repressive regime’s shadow.
