Sexilia and Riza wander Madrid's flea market, each trying to pick up lovers. She is undergoing psychotherapy to cure her nymphomania and fear of the sun. Susana, the psychoanalyst, oversees the process, though her motives hint at something else.

Sexilia's psychoanalyst Susana is more interested in sleeping with Sexilia's father, Doctor de la Peña, than in genuine therapy. The doctor himself is frigid and uninterested, complicating the affair. The dynamic sets up a web of desire that drives the plot.

Princess Toraya, ex-wife of the former Emperor of Tiran, discovers her stepson Riza Nero is in Madrid. Lacking access to the emperor's sperm, she decides to pursue Riza for fertilization. She begins tracking him through media and acquaintances.

Riza, wearing a wig and dark glasses to remain hidden, begins a series of casual encounters in Madrid. He first gets involved with Fabio, a young junkie transvestite, testing his disguise in the city. The meetings are part of his attempt to blend in.

Riza meets Sadec on the streets and goes to Sadec's place for a tryst. Unbeknownst to Riza, Sadec is part of a terrorist group seeking him, and fails to recognize him in disguise. To protect himself, Riza changes his hair and clothes to further conceal his identity.

With Fabio's help, Riza transforms into a punk and takes the stage as Johnny, the lead singer in a substitute lineup. Sexilia and Riza, who knew each other as children, meet again during the performance. They fall in love but choose a chaste relationship in an effort to keep things different.

Sexilia meets Queti, a dry-cleaner’s daughter, who confides in her about her father's pattern of sexual abuse. Queti occasionally dresses in Sexilia's clothes for solace. The pair bond as Sexilia becomes increasingly preoccupied with Riza.

Queti and Sexilia hatch a plan to swap identities so Queti can escape her father and take on Sexilia's role for real, while Sexilia uses the swap to flee with her lover Riza. The plan links their fates and intensifies the romantic tension.

Toraya seduces Riza, while Sexilia discovers the affair by visiting Riza's hotel and finding them together. Riza claims it was only practice for the real thing with her, but the discovery devastates Sexilia. She seeks help from her psychoanalyst to cope with the betrayal.

Under therapy, Sexilia learns that Toraya, not fate, was responsible for her childhood trauma and her nymphomania. The same incident that traumatized Sexilia also influenced Riza's sexuality. This revelation reframes her past and fuels her resolve.

Queti, having undergone plastic surgery, takes on Sexilia's look and begins to move through the world in her stead. The deception deepens as she interacts with Sexilia's father, who believes she is Sexilia and begins to love her anew. The father-daughter dynamics become a crucial twist.

Queti warns Sexilia and Riza of the looming danger as Toraya and Islamic extremists converge on the airport. The tension builds toward a decisive confrontation that will shape the fate of all involved. The group heads for a risky departure toward Contadora.

Riza and Sexilia board a plane bound for Contadora and finally share a kiss and intimate moment in flight. Their relationship deepens as they seek safety away from the city. The tropical island promises a fresh start away from their complicated past.

At the airport, Sadec and his companions, having lost Riza, kidnap Toraya. The abduction marks a new turn as the pursuit continues on the ground, even as Sexilia and Riza try to start anew on their flight.

On the plane, Riza and Sexilia finally make love for the first time, sealing their bond as they escape toward a new life away from Madrid. The act signals a shift from turmoil to a fragile, hopeful intimacy.
