The film opens with Madhu born in Kaikaluru, Andhra Pradesh and Siddhu born in Kolkata. Their early lives unfold in separate regions, yet the story hints at a shared future. As babies, they meet in a shopping complex, planting the first thread of a lifelong connection.

Madhu's father wants to control her future by keeping her son-in-law close, hoping he can remain at home. When Madhu's groom elopes with his girlfriend, he apologizes to Madhu, admitting he doesn't want to ruin another girl's life. The family is left to cope with this broken engagement.

Siddhu earns a visa for Canada but a car accident on the way to the airport disrupts his plans. He is hospitalized for a period and receives Madhu's blood during treatment, creating an intimate bond between them. The incident foreshadows a deep connection that grows later.

Unable to go to Canada, Siddhu enrolls in the same college as Madhu. They meet in a temple and gradually become good friends, sharing laughs and study sessions. Their friendship lays the groundwork for a later romance.

Madhu and Siddhu help their friends Santhi and Babu pursue their love while keeping Santhi's father, a powerful goon, from interfering. They navigate campus life and family pressure to protect the couple, while nurturing their own feelings.
