Two families, one rooted in Kaikaluru, Andhra Pradesh, and the other from Kolkata, begin a sprawling, intertwined tale that follows the lives of Madhu and Siddhu from the moment they are born. As babies, they cross paths in a bustling shopping complex, setting the stage for a story that will weave together devotion, distance, and a stubborn pull toward each other.

As Madhu grows, her father dreams of a secure, nearby marriage for his daughter, hoping to keep his family close and his daughter from ever feeling unattached. Nagendra Prasad plays the character Babu, the man Santhi loves.
