Dr Sonali negotiates with the mental hospital's top doctors to allow her four patients to attend an India vs England cricket match on Independence Day. She secures permission and helps the patients prepare for the outing. The plan is framed as a chance for them to enjoy a rare celebration together, outside the hospital. The four patients are getting ready for the trip as the day begins.

On the way to the stadium, Dabboo steps out to urinate and notices Sonali being kidnapped by masked thugs. He sees one thug remove his mask and recognizes something is wrong, but his friends can't understand his expression because he cannot speak. The others stay in the car, unaware of the danger unfolding around them.

As the situation unfolds, the four become bored and split up to search for Dr. Sonali. Dabboo remains in the car due to his mutism, while Raja, Gangadhar, and Mukherjee venture off to look in different places. The plan to keep the trip lighthearted quickly turns tense as Sonali vanishes.

While following independence day news, Raja sees his ex-girlfriend Shikha on a TV broadcast and recognises her. The reunion is tearful as he tracks her down, and they share a moment amid the ongoing chaos. The sight of her becomes a turning point in his search for Sonali.

Raja goes to Shikha's house to apologise to her father, hoping to mend past tensions. He meets Shikha's fiancé Pranav, whom she is set to marry soon, and begins a fight with him. The confrontation ends with Raja being thrown out of the house.

Gangadhar returns after following schoolchildren singing Sare Jahan Se Accha and accidentally bumps into Dr. Mukherjee. They realise the group’s car, and Sonali’s location, has disappeared. The sense of urgency rises as the rescue plan intensifies.

Raja and his companions head to the traffic station and file a missing-person report for Dr. Sonali. They learn that Sonali's husband RK Sanyal is at a hotel, and a new lead emerges about her whereabouts. The search becomes a chase against time as the clock ticks toward trouble.

They track RK Sanyal to the hotel, where a man calls to say Sonali has been captured and is safe, implicating Sanyal in the kidnapping. They are chased by the kidnapper and manage to escape, then decide to confront Shikha’s office to seek help. They end up kidnapping Sanyal during the Star Awards function.

At the Star Awards, they force Sanyal to announce a Rs 50 million reward for Sonali’s return. Sanyal briefly escapes, but it’s all part of the plan, and they have hidden a camera to document his actions. The sequence heightens the tension as the truth about Sonali’s fate remains unclear.

A taxi driver picks up four people who claim to have found Sonali and takes them to a nearby village. The foursome is captured and buried as if sown, and the driver then contacts them to relay the news. The mystery of Sonali’s whereabouts deepens as the searchers race to the scene.

The four reach the scene only to find Sonali missing once more and are confronted by the hospital’s board of directors. They manage to escape when Sonali suddenly vanishes again, leaving the group’s plan in jeopardy. The mounting twists push the team toward the final act.

Sonali is brought to a hospital and the four follow in an auto. In Rana’s room, the ‘four doctors’ reveal themselves as the very team assigned to inspect Rana. Dr. Mukherjee returns, and the group tortures Rana to force the revelation. They learn that Sonali’s husband orchestrated the kidnapping as part of a larger plan, capture the criminals, and then all of them return home.
