Kelly leads a double life as a teenage webcam performer, filming herself constantly with her cellphone. She also hustles drugs around town, a side activity that complicates her day-to-day life. This dual existence explains why a missing drug package and the threats connected to it become central to the plot.

On July 4, Ryan repossesses the car he financed, and the trunk still contains a package of drugs. Kelly attends her family birthday party, but a confrontation with her aunt leads her to leave on foot. The looming danger of the missing heroin escalates the stakes for the day.

Kelly and Jordan crash a friend's party plan and Kelly flirts with Jordan's boyfriend, underscoring how entangled their lives are with risk. She learns from a drug contact that the owner will kill her if the drugs are not recovered. The information heightens the urgency to retrieve the package.

To fix things, Kelly patches things up with Jordan and they drive off in Jordan's father's SUV to locate Ryan. They are high on ADHD pills and cocaine, which fuels reckless decisions along the way. They head out across Long Island to track down the car.

They learn Ryan drove the car to a club on Staten Island and drive there to intervene. The pursuit ends in disaster when the SUV crashes into a tree. The crash raises the urgency to recover the heroin and salvage their situation.

Desperate, Kelly calls her biggest fan, Poo Bare, a state trooper who helps them locate the car. When the missing drugs aren’t there, Poo Bare demands that Kelly sleep with him to force Ryan to reveal the missing package. The money-and-power dynamic heightens the film's peril.

After more misadventures, they recover the heroin from Ryan's dad's garage. The recovered drugs become the new focal point as the group tries to stay ahead of threats. The moment marks a brief reversal from their earlier failures.

Early on July 5, the group checks into a motel. Poo Bare locks Ryan and Jordan in the bathroom with Ryan handcuffed to the toilet, while Kelly films the scene. Ryan convinces Jordan to retrieve the handcuff keys from Poo Bare, frees himself, and shoots Poo Bare in the back, then bolts outside.

Ryan bolts out after shooting Poo Bare. Kelly leaves Poo Bare behind and, with Jordan, attempts to chase Ryan. They lose him, and Jordan runs from the car screaming, forgetting her phone in the process.

Kelly discovers that Jordan posted a video of Kelly from early in the film, and the online comments are cruel and cutting. The public shaming adds emotional strain to Kelly’s already fragile state. The moment deepens the rift between the two friends.

Overwhelmed by everything that happened, Kelly binges on a pile of cheeseburgers. The indulgence contrasts with her previous risky behavior and hints at her coping strategy. The scene underscores her vulnerability after a long, dangerous day.

With Ryan on the loose and the heroin recovered but now vulnerable, the group faces an uncertain future under threat from both criminals and law enforcement. The film ends on a note of ambiguity, focusing on Kelly’s emotional state as dawn approaches.
