Raghu attacks his father because he believes his father has failed to take care of the family. This violent outburst stems from his frustration over the family's financial struggles, particularly their restaurant facing closure. The attack unexpectedly reveals the existence of an ancestral property in Kasi that becomes central to the plot.

The opening violence hints at Raghu's desperate, reckless nature which drives his later decisions.

During an IT raid on the minister's house, the minister hands his laptop, which contains property details, to his auditor for safekeeping. The auditor then exploits the situation by demanding five crores to release the laptop back. This creates a parallel monetary pressure that intersects with Raghu's quest to reclaim his family's assets.

Ganesh and his two associates reveal a scheme to swindle a billionaire in order to obtain valuable diamonds. They promise to return Raghu and Seenu's money if their plan succeeds. The scheme is executed quickly, allowing them to secure diamonds overnight and prepare to disappear with both the money and the gems.

Ganesh's willingness to cheat others sets up his later betrayal of Raghu and Seenu.

After securing the diamonds, Ganesh hides them inside a tusk cover and loads it onto a random train at the railway station. This clever but risky move is meant to keep the diamonds safe during their escape. However, it also sets up the climactic race between Raghu, Seenu, and Ganesh to recover the hidden loot.

The tusk cover detail appears suddenly, turning the simple chase into a more complex puzzle.

Ganesh spots Raghu with his girlfriend Maya (also referred to as Aishwarya) in Karaikudi and realizes that Raghu and Seenu could interfere with his diamond heist. Rather than paying back the money he owes them, Ganesh decides to cheat them out of revenge, believing their presence threatens his plans. This betrayal intensifies the pursuit and raises the stakes.

Raghu discovers an ancestral family property in Kasi that has been leased for nearly a century. The climax involves a race against time at the railway station and train, where they ultimately reclaim their assets while also helping the minister retrieve his laptop containing the property details.

Ganesh deceived both Raghu and Seenu by promising returns on their investments or business dealings, but instead took their money for himself. When Raghu and Seenu travel to Karaikudi to find Ganesh and recover what they're owed, they discover that Ganesh has bigger plans involving a diamond heist rather than simply paying them back.
