Yash Ambani and Raj Ambani pull off a bank heist at the First Village Bank and escape. They are sheltered by Zandulal, the innocent bank manager, but the police blame him for the crime because he housed them.

Zandulal learns that Yash and Raj fled to Durban. He pleads with the bank chairman for time to locate them and prove his innocence.

In Durban, diamonds worth millions have been stolen from the International Diamond Centre by an underworld gang led by Marcos. The theft sets off a broader chase between criminals and the police.

Senior inspector Arjun Singh is determined to catch Marcos and his gang. He is married to Kajal Khurana, the daughter of the police commissioner Khurana.

Kajal Khurana has a split personality—loving wife and mother for most of the day, but Kamini, a murderous figure, for 10 minutes daily. This duality complicates Arjun's life and the investigation.

Raj falls in love with Sanjana Khurana, Kajal's younger sister, and pretends to be arrogant so she will think he's unattainable. After confessing his feelings, they plan on marrying.

At Khurana's house, Zandulal encounters Yash and Raj and threatens to expose them unless they return the money they stole. The encounter raises the stakes for everyone involved.

Cornered, Yash and Raj decide to commit one last robbery: they raid a minister's house just before Marcos arrives. The minister is tortured and killed because Marcos cannot find the diamonds.

Arjun, with Kajal's father, arrest Yash, Raj and Zandulal for the minister's house robbery. They are sent to prison, but Yash bribes a film director to help him escape.

Marcos confronts Raj and Yash about the diamonds and tries to intimidate them by tying them to a train track. The plan backfires as the train speeds by and takes Marcos and his gang instead of the fugitives.

With the cancellation of Sanjana's engagement, Kajal's fits become worse. She uses guns and knives on Arjun to kill him, escalating the danger around the investigation.

Yash kidnaps Sanjana and, with Raj, wins Kajal's reluctant approval to help them against Marcos. They also kidnap one of Marcos' associates, Sofia.

To intimidate Marcos further, they dress up for a festival and run away with the diamonds. They hide the diamonds in a fish tank, where the fish eat them.

Sofia disappears, leaving no trace. Arjun is relocated to another town to start police training, and Marcos and his associates are arrested and sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Yash and Raj start a fishing business to recover their lost diamonds and salvage their fortunes. The film closes on a note of tentative normalcy along the coast.
