Jumanji: The Next Level

Three years have passed since the group's last adventure in Jumanji. Spencer, Fridge, Martha, and Bethany have grown apart and are now planning to reunite in Brantford, but Spencer is feeling anxious about the meeting.

As the planned reunion approaches, Spencer grapples with feelings of insecurity, especially regarding Martha. He believes that they may lead better lives separate from each other, making him hesitate to embrace their long-awaited reconnection.

When Spencer does not show up on the first night back, his friends become worried for his safety. Their concern leads them to visit his home to investigate his whereabouts.

At Spencer's house, the group meets his grandfather Eddie, who is recovering from surgery, and his friend Milo. During this visit, they discover that Spencer has kept the broken pieces of the Jumanji game hidden away.

Determined to rescue Spencer, Fridge, Martha, Eddie, and Milo all decide to re-enter the Jumanji game. However, a malfunction occurs, pulling only them into the game while leaving Bethany to seek help from Alex.

Inside Jumanji, the group undergoes transformations into new avatars. Martha becomes Ruby Roundhouse, Fridge takes on the role of Professor Oberon, and Eddie and Milo become Bravestone and Mouse, respectively.

After a near-fatal encounter with a python, the group learns about Jurgen the Brutal, a warlord posing a threat to Jumanji. Jurgen has stolen the Falcon's Heart, a vital object that the gang must recover to save their world.

The group ventures into the desert known as the Dunes. Here, they begin to discover their individual strengths and weaknesses, and face perilous challenges that test their teamwork and resolve.

In an oasis, the group has a significant turnaround when they reunite with Spencer, who now inhabits the character of Ming Fleetfoot. This character, although gifted, carries its own vulnerabilities that complicate matters.

As they navigate further into Jumanji, the group faces increasing dangers, including confrontations with Jurgen's henchmen. They encounter key setbacks, which test their resilience and their relationships with one another.

The team discovers a magical river that offers them a chance to revert to their original avatars. This respite provides a moment of hope amid the chaos as they gear up for a final confrontation with Jurgen.

In a thrilling climax, Spencer faces Jurgen in a battle for Jumanji's future. Utilizing the powers granted by the Jumanji Berry, Spencer and his friends work together to reclaim the Falcon's Heart and save their world.

Having successfully thwarted Jurgen, the team returns to the real world. Spencer seizes the opportunity to bond with his grandfather by sharing his love for video games, fostering deeper connections in their family.

As the group visits the newly opened diner owned by Nora Shepperd, a surprise twist occurs. A mechanic, hired by Spencer's mom, accidentally triggers the Jumanji game again, hinting at yet another adventure waiting to unfold.
