Jackie Brown

In 1995, Jackie Brown works as a flight attendant for the small Mexican airline Cabalas Airlines. This job allows her to smuggle cash from Mexico to the U.S. for the notorious gun dealer Ordell Robbie.

Ordell's associate Beaumont Livingston is arrested, which creates a twist of fate that puts Jackie in a precarious situation. Fearing that Beaumont might inform on him to evade jail time, Ordell takes drastic measures to protect his operation.

Ordell arranges Beaumont's bail through bail bondsman Max Cherry but ultimately leads Beaumont to his death. This ruthless act underscores Ordell's willingness to eliminate anyone who poses a threat to his operations.
