Police Commissioner Suryadev Singh takes Kajal under his protection after her parents are poisoned by his enemies. He fears for her safety as Vishambar plots to ruin him. Kajal becomes a focal point in the feud over Sundernagar and the family inheritance. This sets the stage for the looming conflict.

Vishambar schemes to completely ruin Suryadev to seize control of Sundernagar. He enlists Bhanwari and his wife to support the plan and decides to hire a killer to eliminate Kajal. The vendetta is driven by disputed property and past grievances, escalating the danger for Kajal and Suryadev.

Vishambar hires Karan, a young man in need of money for his ailing mother, to drama-kidnap Kajal. The assignment is meant to win Suryadev's trust and pave the way for Kajal's removal. Karan accepts the job despite the personal risk involved.

The kidnapping is staged by Vishambar's goons, but Karan intervenes and rescues Kajal. His act secures Suryadev's confidence and designates Karan as Kajal's protector rather than a foe. Kajal is kept safe for the moment, and the relationship between Karan and Suryadev begins to shift.

To shield Kajal from ongoing danger, Suryadev sends her to relatives in his village, appointing Karan as her loyal bodyguard. This separation provides time and space for the pair to grow closer while the threat from Vishambar lingers. The village setting deepens the bond between Kajal and Karan.

Kajal becomes emotionally involved with Karan and falls in love, while Karan remains reluctant to reciprocate. He wrestles with his original mission and the genuine feelings he is developing for her. The budding romance raises the stakes for both as the truth behind his past assignment looms.

Karan grapples with his conflicted mission, briefly contemplating killing Kajal to complete the plan. Kajal's love compounds the tension, making their closeness even more dangerous in the eyes of those who hired him. The emotional and moral stakes climb as the truth edges closer.

Damru (Johnny Lever) and his girlfriend appear with humorous acts that lighten the tense mood surrounding Kajal's peril. Their scenes offer a respite from the ongoing conspiracy and danger. The humor contrasts with the darker machinations of Vishambar's plan.

Vishambar escalates the plot by hiring another killer, Dilavar, to eliminate Kajal and Karan. Kajal is kidnapped again, triggering a desperate rescue by Karan. He defeats Dilavar and eliminates the immediate threat, but the mastermind remains at large.

Suryadev uncovers a note Karan had written for Kajal outlining his feelings before falling for her, revealing his original motive. The lovers are briefly apprehended, and Karan endures torture rather than reveal who hired him. He remains steadfast to protect his mother and loved ones.

Suryadev arranges for Kajal to marry Rohit, the son of a longtime friend, on the condition that Karan will be released. Kajal agrees to the marriage to secure Karan's freedom. The plan moves toward a wedding as Karan remains imprisoned by the case and loyalties.

Karan discovers the wedding plan and, in a fit of rage, leaves to protect Kajal. Bhanwari kidnaps his mother and Rohit to force Karan to kill Rohit in exchange for their return. The coercion pushes the situation toward a dramatic brink just before the ceremony.

Karan arrives at the wedding scene, refuses to let Rohit miss his marriage to Kajal, and rescues Rohit and his mother. He kills Bhanwari to break the pressure tactic and protect his loved ones. The wedding proceeds under a cloud of vengeance and rising tension.

In the climax, Vishambar is killed by Karan after a gunfight at the wedding. Bhanwari's influence is neutralized, and the police arrest Karan, promising him a rapid return from jail. Suryadev consoles Kajal with the prospect of their eventual marriage once the legal saga ends.
