The film opens on New Year’s Eve in Goa as Macaroni and his girlfriend celebrate. Abusi and his henchmen arrive, forcing repayment on a loan Baba guaranteed. Macaroni tries to flee but is caught and dragged to Abusi’s place.

Baba appears at their house but is soon nabbed by Abusi’s men. He is taken to the same hideout, increasing the pressure on Appu. The scene sets the stage for Appu’s intervention.

Appu, Baba’s son and a skilled surfer, offers to settle the debt. He manages to bail out Macaroni and Baba with a small payment. This marks the start of Appu’s protective arc over his family.

On the eve of the Russian New Year, Zaya loses her phone and causes a scene. Appu agrees to drop her at her homestay but ends up taking her to his own when she is too drunk to remember the way. A budding friendship forms as they spend time together.

In Goa, Appu and Zaya share adventures—visiting tourist spots, jet skiing, and casinos. Appu begins to develop deeper feelings, and he attempts to tell her. She freaks out and runs away, leaving him hopeful and confused.

Baba suggests Appu go to Kerala to test her feelings. Appu travels to Kerala with Macaroni and reaches Zaya’s palatial house, only to find it locked and everyone gone for an engagement. He wrongly assumes it is Zaya’s engagement, but a church visit reveals it is actually Zaya’s sister’s engagement, and he learns that Zaya is a nun.

In Kerala, Appu confronts Zaya at her convent. Zaya explains her past and why she chose the nun’s life, including the trauma she endured. Appu understands her plight and vows to stand by her.

Zaya confesses that she loves Appu and longs to live freely. Appu reassures her that he will always be there for her, strengthening their bond. Their resolve to face hardships together becomes a turning point.

On the eve of Zaya’s sister’s pre-wedding, Appu works as a waiter at the lodge to pay his dues. He faces beatings from Zaya’s uncle and his men and is thrown out; police get involved, and the lodge owner bails him out the next day.

Appu and Zaya escape and take shelter in a priest’s convent lodging with Francis. They reach the railway station and board a train, but are chased by Zaya’s uncle and his men, who pursue them across carriages.

On the train, Baba appears and urges Appu to stop running and face the situation with courage. Appu fights the uncle and his men, but police detain him and the media frames the romance as a communal issue. A bishop intervenes to help resolve the crisis.

A bishop’s intervention leads to a thaw with Zaya’s parents. The uncle is punished by law, and Appu moves back to Goa with Zaya. He settles the remaining dues by selling Macaroni’s land in Kerala, ending the debt cycle and affirming their partnership.
